Chapter 5: Settings screen

You can configure the behavior of Verbix linguistic features as well as the outlook. All the settings are divided into four subscreens:


Language Options

Language options are used to configure linguistic features of Verbix. Therefore, they are grouped by language.


Screen options

Screen options affect the outlook of Verbix software.

Screen fonts

By modifying the screen fonts, you can affect which colors and font faces you use to display the different irregularities in the verb (cf. conjugation tables).

Software outlook

You can adjust the window size and location and save the settings. Next time you run Verbix, the window´size and location will be the one shown below.

Misc settings

There are two additional settings that affect the outlook of the Verb table screen.

  1. You can determine how many verbs in maximum are shown in the list of verbs conjugated in the same way as the active one. If you enter 0 (zero), all verbs are shown.
  2. By modifying line height, you can change the space between lines in the conjugation tables.


Printer options

Printer options let you specify settings that affect the printing of verb tables.

Printer selection

Before printing out anything, ensure that you have chosen the correct printer.

Additional settings

There are two additional settings that affect the outlook printouts.

Startup

If you press the Save settings button, Verbix will next time start in the language and with the verb shown.
