Installation of the Valencian language

This document describes how to

1. Install Verbix language extension for the Valencian language
2. Conjugate nouns and numerals besides verbs in Valencian!

1. Install Verbix language extension

1.1 Before continuing, ensure that you have the newest Verbix version installed: choose Help|About in Verbix menu, and ensure Verbix software version info is 4.2.3 or higher.

If your version is older, download the latest one.

1.2 New languages can be installed in Verbix (Windows shareware) and FreeVerbix (Windows freeware). To install a language extension, choose Tools|Install new languages... in Verbix menu.

1.3 Connect to the Internet.

1.4. Press Refresh button.

1.5 Once the language extension list is shown, choose Valencian.xml from the list. Clicking Valencian.xml will show information of the language extension like in the picture below.

Before continuing, ensure that Valencian.xml has the check mark.

1.6 Press Install button to download and install the language extension.

1.7 Wait for the language installation process to complete.

2. Conjugate!

2.1 Choose Valencian language and...

2.2 ...Click Verb Tables button.

2.3 To get Valencian verb anar 'to go' conjugated, choose

• Verbs from the Show list (1)
• anar from the verb list (2)
• Indicative: Present from the tense list (3)

2.4 To show all forms of Valencian number (numeral) quatre 'four', choose:

• Numerals from the Show list (1)
• quatre from the verb (sic!) list (2)
• check 'show all tenses' (3)
